The Gwalia Welsh male choir and Richmond Rock Choir singers delighted their audience at Duke Street Church, Richmond in May with their imaginative programme of traditional and contemporary music. The event raised £2,600 for LEAH’s work with migrants and refugees in Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow.
“The choirs were entertaining, inspiring and amusing,” said LEAH Director, Jenny Irish. “Thanks to them, we have additional funds for our core services which provide 1:1 home tuition and small, community-based language and literacy classes. I’d like to thank all the LEAH supporters who made this event a success and Ole & Steen Richmond who donated refreshments”.
