This week we combine some sad and exciting news for LEAH. Kate Brown, our Director, will be stepping down in the middle of October and we've started the search for our next Director to lead us through our exciting next phase.
Kate will be starting a new role as co-Director of Reset, a charity supporting and promoting community sponsorship of Syrian refugee families, an exciting opportunity to lead a new, national charity. Kate has been with LEAH for four years and says that "whilst I'm excited by the new challenge ahead, there is so much I will miss about LEAH, particularly being part of such a fantastic team of staff, volunteers and trustees and of contributing to the real difference that LEAH makes".
We are looking for a new Director with strong strategic vision who is skilled in managing change and with a successful track record in fundraising. He or she will help us develop our services and partnerships and ensure we make maximum use of our resources to bring about change in the lives of ethnic minority adults with low language levels. Please pass on details of the role to your contacts to help us cast the net wide!
More information is available on www.charityjob.co.uk.
The closing date for applications is Friday, 5 October 2018. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at LEAH’s office in Kingston from mid-October.
Applications should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
