People standing with a cheque at Ham Market

Members of the Ham Parade Committee, including Cllr Jean Loveland (holding up a LEAH leaflet), present a £390 cheque for the sale of raffle tickets

Good result at Ham Parade Market

Volunteers braved the cold to spread the word and raise funds for LEAH at Ham Parade Market on Saturday 3 March. Generous stall holders and local businesses contributed raffle prizes and the market organisers provided the stall free of charge. Gifts donated by LEAH supporters topped up the sale of raffle tickets to achieve a total of £527, quite an accomplishment given the weather.

LEAH Director Kate Brown said: “The market had a really great atmosphere, Lila and I really enjoyed ourselves. I want to thank all who donated lovely items and those who visited the LEAH stall.”
