LEAH receives Small Charity BIG Impact Award at central London ceremony
We were thrilled to attend the Small Charity Big Impact Awards ceremony in the Leathersellers' Hall, and receive in person our runners up award. The award is recognition of the impact we have in our communities and the work we do to understand, measure and improve that impact.
We were very proud to attend the awards with one of our client and volunteer pairs: Avanti, who provides bespoke 1:1 language support in the home and Feng, her client.
Kate Brown, our Director, who accompanied Avanti and Feng, said: "What a fantastic evening, it's been so great to meet with other small charities making a big impact. We are so proud of our volunteers like Avanti, and the impact they make on the lives of women like Feng. It was a really special moment to be with them at the ceremony and to see Feng confident to attend the event. A huge thank you, not only to Avanti and Feng, but to all our volunteers and supporters who make our impact possible!"
The awards programme run by the FSI (Foundation for Social Improvement) aims to raise awareness of the work of small charities. See here for more information.
Our prize is a short film clip about our work - which we look forward to sharing soon.
