LEAH volunteers celebrate at summer party

Learn English at Home’s summer party took place at the end of last month, giving us the opportunity to thank our volunteers for all their hard work.

The party took place at Canbury Pavilion, in Canbury Gardens in Kingston on Thursday 28th June. Guests were treated to delicious Lebanese food from Palmyra Restaurant, and music from Zoltan.

The evening was also a chance to celebrate LEAH’s recent award as a runner up the Foundation for Social Improvement’s Small Charity, Big Impact awards. Read more about the award here.

Kate Brown, director of LEAH, said: “The summer party was a great opportunity for us to thank all our volunteers for the work they have put into the charity over this last year. Without the support of our volunteers LEAH would not be able to make the impact it does.

“I would like to thank all our volunteers that came to the party, and those that could not make it, as well as the Palmyra Restaurant and Zoltan for helping make the evening so special.”
